From 13 to 21 February, a version of the digital serious game activity Orbitia is be shown at the Luxembourg Science Center in Differdange (www.science-center.lu).
Come by, become a space-mining crew and work together to collect minerals and overcome obstacles in the harsh environment of the distant planet Orbitia!
Team members Hoorieh Afkari and Valérie Maquil participated to the 4th European Tangible Interaction Studio that took place online and conducted a workshop on "Exploring Opportunities of Tabletop Interfaces for Promoting and Analysing Collaboration".
With a little delay, we started today with the third series of trials. Of course, we put in place a series of extra safety measures to ensure there is no risk of virus propagation. Nevertheless we are very happy to start again with the trials!
Team member Hoorieh Afkari presented the short paper "Designing different features of an interactive tabletop application to support collaborative problem-solving" at the International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces 2020, held in Ischia Island, Italy.
Team member Svenja Heuser participated to ECCA 2020 and presented the work 'Reading aloud during an interactive tabletop game activity: Getting each other’s orientation in line’.
The luxembourgish newspaper "l'essentiel", reports about our project!
